One of Coral Gables’ historic landmarks is doing its part to remain in step with fitness trends. Local wellness enthusiasts looking for an elevated experience will find it at The Club at The Biltmore, a once social coterie for local gatherings that has since morphed into an emporium of resort lifestyle, activity, and communal engagement. Recently, the fitness center at this local Grand Dame of hospitality underwent enhancements, including a complete remodel of the men’s and women’s locker rooms, steam rooms, and saunas. These upgrades serve the three new studios launched to enhance the fitness practice for its members.

The Club’s 10,000 square-foot fitness center is equipped with specialized areas catering to different needs. These include a cardio training space, a comprehensive free-weight room for strength training, and group exercise studios. The Biltmore Fitness Center features the very elite Excite Collection from Technogym®, a state-of-the-art equipment that ensures an exceptional workout experience. Group fitness options include The Group Cycle Studio with 14 state-of-the-art TechnogymTM spinning bikes that track performance data, enhanced with music and visual effects for an interactive training session. The Movement Studio is a versatile, hybrid space offering personal and group training in Zumba, Body Sculpt, Barre, Ab classes, and TRX, designed to promote fitness and release endorphins to relieve stress. The Pilates Reformer Studio features 4 brand-new Elina Reformers with towers, targeting every muscle from head to toe for an effective, low-impact workout. Another unique aspect of the experience is the aquatic classes which are held in the historic pool, so synonymous with the legendary Biltmore hotel. A team of personal trainers is available for private sessions at preferred rates for any of the offerings.

Remaining true to its social roots, Biltmore Members are encouraged to take advantage of the amenities that include The Biltmore Spa, discounted hotel stays, wine tastings, summer culinary camp for children and member events throughout the year. For those fitness fans drawn to the Club for its founding mission, a monthly members meet-up fosters community and welcomes new members to its ranks.
