HER LAST NAME MAY EVOKE TRADITION, BUT MARIA BUCCELLATI’S AMBITIONS ARE FIRMLY FIXED ON THE FUTURE.

Maria Buccellati belongs to a new generation of fashion creatives redefining what luxury means in an era shaped equally by culture, technology, and sustainability. Moving seamlessly between Miami and Paris, the Italian designer and former Dolce & Gabbana model has cultivated a distinctly modern identity, one that extends beyond fashion into the broader worlds of art, music, innovation, and digital culture.
Much of that evolution can be seen through her work with Faith Connexion, the Paris-born label she helped transform into something far more expansive than a traditional fashion house. Under Buccellati’s creative direction, the brand evolved into a multidimensional platform that merges luxury fashion with creative collaboration and forward-thinking production models.
“What makes our project innovative is its production philosophy,” Buccellati says. “Unlike traditional luxury brands built around seasonal overproduction, we embraced an on-demand, zero-inventory manufacturing system. Pieces are produced only when demand exists, reducing waste, eliminating deadstock, and creating a more sustainable and agile business structure.”

The approach reflects a larger shift happening across the fashion industry, where conversations around sustainability are becoming inseparable from conversations about innovation. For Buccellati, sustainability is not simply an aesthetic statement, but part of the brand’s foundation. “Our model reflects the broader shift toward circular, data-informed luxury, where technology and creativity coexist,” she explains.
Equally important to Buccellati’s vision is collaboration. Rather than operating within the traditional framework of a singular creative voice, she has built Faith Connexion around the idea of collective authorship, bringing together artists, stylists, musicians, and emerging creatives to continuously reinterpret the brand’s identity. The result is a label that feels deeply connected to contemporary culture while maintaining its roots in luxury and streetwear.
Among the brand’s recent collaborations are the Ellen V x Faith Connexion Hybrid capsule, recognized during Miami Swim Week Paraiso, and the Sarah Lopez x Faith Connexion collaboration, which received recognition at MFI 2025. Partnerships linked to Swizz Beatz’s No Commission platform and artist Niña Chanel further highlight Buccellati’s interest in positioning fashion within a wider cultural conversation.
Through projects connected to Faith Tribe, Buccellati continues exploring emerging ideas surrounding digital traceability, authentication, and the future of ownership in both physical and digital spaces, subjects increasingly shaping the next chapter of luxury fashion.
Today, Buccellati’s work reflects the evolving reality of modern fashion leadership: globally minded, culturally collaborative, technologically fluent, and deeply attuned to the ways luxury consumers are redefining value, identity, and creativity.
