With a far from your average daily routine challenged by his ever-changing schedule, a day in the life of Daymond John, businessman, investor, television personality and FUBU’s CEO, is an exciting, topsy-turvy exercise in multi-tasking and perseverance.
6 AM: I wake up and begin my day by reading my goals and meditating for about an hour.
8:15 AM: I get dressed and prepare to drop my daughter at school.
8:45 AM: I’m back at home for a light breakfast. And then I proceed to make my calls.
9:45 AM: Weather permitting, I prefer to walk on the beach or boardwalk while making these calls, which usually takes around three hours and while I cover approximately eight and a half miles! So, I get my cardio in, too.
12:30 PM: I take a break to have lunch, shower, and change after my walk.
1:45 PM: This is when I partake in interviews, live broadcasts, and virtual speaking engagements. However, these engagements may often extend until six or seven, along with the occasional business meetings. So I got to be ready for anything the afternoon throws at me.
7 PM: I have dinner with my daughter and help her with homework.
8:30 PM: As my schedule is rather busy and my social life is too. I may have to attend another gathering or event or gala any given day.
10 PM: This is when I start communicating with companies which are based overseas, particularly in China and Asia. Considering that it is morning.
11 PM Before going to bed, I like to unwind by watching a quick movie with my wife, or by
listening to an audiobook, This is also when I find myself reviewing my goals and long-term plans.
1:30 AM This is pretty wild, but I usually fall asleep late, only to wake up and repeat the routine the next day.
