YES, CHEF!

What better way to celebrate The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival than with a foodie itinerary around Miami cooked up by one of city’s most beloved chefs? Brad Kilgore, who just added another eatery to his culinary belt of notches, gives us a sneak peek at his pantry, Oise and few of his favorite local gems.

FAVORITE WINTER INGREDIENTS/ My favorite winter seasonal ingredients are celery root, fresh black truffle and honeynut squash. We use these ingredients in our dishes at MaryGold’s, including our Honeynut Squash, now available and roasted with a center of buttery smoked pecan praline and glazed with pumpkin seed dukkah, an Egyptian blend of fragrant herbs, nuts and spices.

RESTAURANTS YOU LOVE/ Itame and Matys, Stanzione 87 Pizza, Zak the Baker and Oise. Oise is a new, casual Italian Japanese pop up I am launching tomorrow!

IDEAL DAY OFF/ A day trip to Islamorada with fried fish and cocktails around sundown.

FAVORITE MARYGOLD’S MENU ITEM/ I love our hand cut tagliatelle, made with homestead pomodoro, sweet crab, gjetost cream and scallop parmesan.

GO-TO COFFEE SPOT / Novella Cafe | BEST PLACE FOR DESSERT / Bachour | BEST PLACE FOR A COCKTAIL / Dante’s High-Fi

BEST PLACES TO HANG WITH FAMILY/ We love a day at the Jungle Island Zoo checking out their Luminosa Jungle and dinner at Macchialina.
