SEAS THE DAY

Chantal Levesque, the powerhouse behind SHAN, knows how to make waves—both in business and at the beach. From curating swoon-worthy collections to rubbing shoulders with fashion’s elite at Miami Swim Week, she blends bold design with boss moves. When she’s not turning up the heat in luxury swim and resort wear, you’ll find her savoring fine dining or connecting with her chic clientele. With a flair for fashion and a taste for the good life, Chantal is proving that running a swimwear empire looks best in designer shades.

7:00 AM

I wake up and review the day’s schedule. I get some fresh air and enjoy coffee on the balcony before my morning walk in our Sunny Isles neighborhood.

8:00 AM

I respond to a few emails while getting ready for the day’s model casting for our upcoming Miami Swim Week runway show this spring.

9:00 AM

I typically enjoy breakfast at Maman Bakery in Sunset Harbour. I’ve been loving Maman’s Smashed Avocado Tartine and a cup of hot English Breakfast tea – its new location is right next to our boutique so it’s perfect.

10:00 AM

After breakfast, I walk over to the store and meet with the team to review this year’s Summer and Fall collections, discussing how the pieces should be laid out in-store. I love being in our boutiques and saying hi to clients who have shopped Shan over the years and meet local residents who are excited to have been acquainted with the brand and our Miami Beach location.

12:30 PM

I met the team at a potential venue in South Beach for Shan’s 40th anniversary event that’s collabing with the Paraiso Miami Swim Week event. I like experiencing the venues myself and envisioning our concepts for each event we host.

2:00 PM

Lunchtime at Zaytinya at Ritz Carlton South Beach. I love the new menu by Chef Jose Andres!

3:30 PM

Head back to Shan Sunset Harbour and continue catching up on emails. I truly love to assist clients that walk into the store and help them choose their perfect Shan look from our latest collection.

6:30 PM

Dinner is with the family at MILA in Miami Beach, where we enjoy staple dishes like their Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and Chilean Seabass.

9:00 PM

I get home and unwind with a glass of Nebiolo and catch up with my partner about our days while sitting outside enjoying the fresh South Florida night air.
