BOAT DAY

My favorite way to experience Miami is by the ocean. Spending a day on the boat near Haulover Sandbar, or taking a boat tour (I’ve done it more times than I care to admit), admiring the homes along the bay, it never gets old. I genuinely love acting like a tourist in this city…unless we’re going to South Beach.

MIAMI SLICE

I’m originally a New Yorker, so I feel like I know pizza. This is easily one of the best in the city. Pro tip: grab a slice and take it to Hobie Island Beach Trail.

JULIA & HENRY’S

This food hall is one of my favorite stops, housed inside one of the most historic buildings downtown. It’s where my husband and I go when we’re craving a little bit of everything. The energy is always vibrant, and the space itself is stunning. It captures that blend of old and new that makes Miami feel so dynamic.

LAGNIAPPE

My forever go-to when I have people visiting. It’s one of those places that feels like a secret you want to share—though at this point, I think most people are in on it. You walk in, choose your favorite cheese and meat straight from the fridge, and they turn it into a charcuterie board that’s somehow always perfect. Add great wine, mismatched furniture, and a live band playing under string lights, and it feels effortlessly special. Also, not many people know this, but their churrasco is fantastic.

VERSAILLES

This place is Miami. The croquetas, cafecito, noise, rhythm—it’s all part of the experience. I’m within a 10-minute radius, I stop at the ventanita for a pastelito de carne.
