Below is a curated collection of her favorite spots across NYC, each reflecting her signature style, elegant, unexpected and understated.

1. CITI FIELD / Close by and easy to reach, Citi Field offers a perfect excuse to spend time in Queens and catch great baseball. I can’t believe I’m saying this—the New York Mets aren’t my team—but these guys can play, and the energy in the stadium is infectious.

2. ANTONUCCI CAFÉ / I’ve lived on the Upper East Side for many years, and this small, intimate restaurant is the one I return to all the time. From my very first visit, I knew it would become a favorite. It’s an old-fashioned, truly Old World Italian spot with wonderful food and warm, attentive staff—but it’s the feeling of welcome that keeps bringing me back.

3. THE MET CLOISTERS / Becoming an empty nester was a profound transition after years as a suburban mom. Finding myself without that familiar anchor meant learning how to enjoy freedom differently. The Cloisters became my oasis: sweeping Hudson River views, serene courtyards, beautiful sculptures, and quiet corners. It’s a place I return to again and again.

4. LINCOLN CENTER /As a young girl growing up in Brooklyn—a borough larger and more diverse than most cities—I found refuge from the noise and clutter through music. I was lucky to be surrounded by teachers who nurtured that love and introduced me to opera and ballet. Living in a city where I now have access to the very best of that world at Lincoln Center feels like an extraordinary gift.
